Clear direction for building a business that finally works

This email almost didn’t happen

Let me tell you what this email isn’t going to be.
It isn’t going to be polished.
It isn’t going to include a brilliant CTA.
It isn’t going to pretend everything’s in flow.

Because it’s not.

This week, I had four morning appointments that pulled me out of the house, which meant four late starts and a lot of juggling to make the rest of the day work.

I’ve been building a new lead magnet for a client.
I’ve done discovery calls, applied for programs, followed up, networked, soccer practice – all of it.

Technically, I got a lot done.
But right now?
I’m done.
I’m tired.

Not the “I didn’t manage my time well” kind of tired.
The kind where your energy is just… spent.
And the last thing you want to do is write a newsletter.

But here I am.
Because I’ve sent one every week for almost three years.

Not for the streak. Not for the algorithm.
But because this is part of the work.

Not the shiny part.
Not the part that makes for a cute story.
But the part where you keep showing up — even when there’s no fresh insight, no launch, no perfect words.

Just real life.

Summer Camp and What’s Next

And while I’m here – today is the last day to join Summer Camp.

I didn’t post as much as I meant to. I didn’t “sell it out.”
But I get so much joy from this work, and I cannot wait to start and pour into the women who signed up.

It’s going to be a good summer.
Even after a couple of chaotic, end-of-school-year, kids-home-already weeks.

Today will be a light day.
I’m at the beach — my happy place — with my family.
And tomorrow we’ll be celebrating Canada Day.

A Note for You

If you’re in the same boat – where you’re doing a lot, quietly, and feeling a little frazzled – I see you.

It all counts.

Even the emails that almost didn’t happen.
